Wheelchair areas to disinfect

Nowadays there even more health reasons to clean and disinfect your wheelchair due to COVID -19.

Clean and disinfect high-touch surface of your wheelchair. (Please refer to below for examples.) Disinfect with wipes that contain at least a 70% alcohol solution, or with a damp cloth and mild detergent, rinsed thoroughly with clean water.

Clean your wheelchair every time you come in contact with someone new or when you return home from public places. 

Clean your manual wheelchair that are touched most often such as the push handles, armrest, footrest, wheel locks and wheels and rims. 

Clean your power wheelchair that are touched most often such as joystick, armrest pad, round handle and seat.

Clean your scooter that are touched most often such as the round handle, mirrors and basket.
